San Diego County 4-H Leaders Council
Leaders Council sets local 4-H policies with the guidance of 4-H Staff. In addition they are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating County 4-H Events.
Membership in Leaders Council shall be open to all approved 4-H volunteers and Senior 4-H members (9th grade or 14 by December 31st of program Year). All 4-H youth and adult members who are eligible shall participate as 4-H Leaders Council members with full voting rights.
The San Diego County 4-H Council is organized for the purpose of cooperating with the University of California Cooperative Extension in organizing, promoting and carrying out 4-H youth development work in this county. The Leaders Council will operate in compliance with University of California policies and the core values of the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program.
Leaders Council meets on the first Monday of each month in the County 4-H Office conference room at 6:30pm. You can join Council meetings via the internet by clicking the following link during the scheduled meeting time.

Teen Council

The purpose of Teen Council is to promote interest in 4-H activities; to develop leadership; to promote fellowship and provide opportunities for members from the various areas to become better acquainted; to discuss problems; to share ideas, skills, work along with the County Leader’s Council, plan county activities and share county responsibilities.
