Teen Council

4H Teen Council

The purpose of Teen Council is to promote interest in 4-H activities; to develop leadership; to promote fellowship and provide opportunities for members from the various areas to become better acquainted; to discuss problems; to share ideas, skills, work along with the County Leader’s Council, plan county activities and share county responsibilities.

Teen Council shall consist of San Diego County Senior 4-H members. A member enrolls in 4-H as a Senior 4-H member if he or she has graduated from the 8th grade or will be 14 years old by January 1 of the current program year. Membership shall be open to all eligible youth regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, medical or handicapped condition.

Teen Council meets on the second Monday of every month at the 4-H County Office located at 5555 Overland Ave, Bldg 4, San Diego, CA 92123.  Meetings begin at 7 pm immediately following the All Star meeting.
