Nutrition Education Programs
The Nutrition Education Programs in San Diego County through the University of California Cooperative Extension are:
- Food Stamp Education Program (FSNEP) http://fsnep.ucdavis.edu/
A joint agreement aimed to improve the nutrition-related skills of Food Stamp recipients.
- Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) http://efnep.ucdavis.edu/
A program to improve the health of limited resource youth and families with young children through practical lessons on basic nutrition, healthy lifestyles, resource management and food safety.
